I am getting a liquid cooling but the fans blades are white. I was wondering if there was any way that I could spray paint the fans. If so, then how could I? NOTE** I only want to paint the fan blades and not the whole thing.
I suppose you could, just mask the frame with masking tape. but I'd think you'd be risking messing with the balance of the blades, which would probably introduce noise, and/or messing with longevity. Maybe the blades are not as balanced as I think they are, but paint is not weightless- you have to paint it and dry it evenly somehow, drips would cause imbalance.

I haven't seen it done but I suspect if you had whitish colored fans you could dye them with rit dye. People have done that for RC cars etc for years. If your into serious modding then remove the fan blades and dye them. If this was just a passing thought go buy new fans in a closer color to what you wanted to paint them.
