Because I want to combo it with PowerColor HD3850 Extrem 512MB Crossfire.

Anybody have issues using Q6600 wiht X38 boards?

X38 suports quad core processors. They will support 45nm quads when they are available too. There are a lot of articles pairing quad/x38 benchmarking setups like this.
