According to Corsair's site, the H100i works fine with AM4, but the V2 requires you to buy an additional retention bracket.

If you have CORSAIR Coolers: H50, H55, H75, H80i v2 (H80i GT), H90, H100i v2 (H100i GTX), H105, H110i GTX, H115i, you will need to order this bracket to install the cooler on an AM4 socket.

If you have CORSAIR Coolers: H60, H110i (H110i GT), H100i, the cooler is compatible with the existing AMD bracket out of the box.

If you get the V2, AND the additional bracket, you can use it on both the CPUs you mentioned. Otherwise, you'll need to get the non V2 version, and again, it'll fit on both the CPUs you mentioned.

oh and btw, Im not upgrading to 1800x, only to r5 1600/1600x, i have 500w, 1050ti, 4gb ddr4 x2 and ryzen 3 1300x rn, if im upgrading to the r5 1600/1600x, do i need to upgrade to a better power supply,
