Can i pair gtx 1050 with i3 4160;mothreboard Gigabyte H81M-S?

Hello, i have i3 4160 3.60ghz, its decent CPU, but i have poor GPU, intel hd 4400 graphics,and 4gb ram...i want to upgrade my GPU and get gtx 1050, and play every game on high at 45fps minimum at 1366x768 resolution...So can i pair gtx 1050 with my pc? (Motherboard H81M-S)

I would grab a 1050 or a 1050ti and in the future get a new 2x4 or 2x8 set of memory.

That is appropriate.
You might even go stronger with a GTX1050ti.

geofelt I was thinking the same thing. He certainly doesn't need more than a GTX 1050 (non Ti) for 1366 x 768 resolution. However, here in the US that card is $120, and the Ti is approximately $155. It falls under the category of "might-as-well". But it all depends on how tight his budget is.

On the other hand, the suggested upgrade to 8GB of RAM would also be a very wise upgrade.
