You want a DDR3 card as it is faster. A card with more than 512mb of memory is totally pointless at your resolution so only get a 1gb card if the price difference is negligible. The HD4670 and 9600GT were good suggestion. Adding another gig of ram to your system would be smart.

for this PC Config -

Processor - Pentium Dual core 2.8Ghz
Motherboard - Intel 102Ggc2
Onboard Graphics - ATI radeon Xpress 200 - 256MB
RAM - DDR2 1.5GB ( 1GB + 512MB )
PSU - 450W

DDR2 1GB Card will be enough for enjoying these games in 1024 x 768 or 800 x 600 resolution in 17" CRT ??

If yes , please suggest some DDR2 cards ......

Low end video cards do not have the processing power to make use of more than 512mb on the card. Adding 1gb is a marketing gimmick.

You want DDR3 or GDDR3 for sure. You are going to have a hard enough time with the rest of your computer. That 2.8ghz Pentium Dual Core is a Pentium D right? There is no support for anything newer on that motherboard.

Go with 2gb of system memory if you can..... 4gb would be best.

The good thing ( I guess :) ) is the really low resolutions you will be playing at.......1024 x 768 or 800 x 600 will help with an older computer.

His resolution is very low and his processor is weak making an HD5750 a good deal more powerful and expensive than makes sense. Unless you want to give him the extra $60-90 out of the goodness of your heart then an HD4670 or 9600GT are far from a waste of time and actually much more appropriate recommendations.
