Amd 6300 and gtx 750 would be your best bet. You really don't need an expensive mobo.
Also high end apus would run any game on low-medium settings. They substitute the gpu, which you can add later for performance gains.

Get a cheap board from Asus or Msi and you will be fine. PSU should be 500-550w and have at least 80+ bronze quality. I really think this would be the best option, since you can get a cpu-gpu combo capable of running any game for very little (10435 Rs in this case)
Best of luck!

Thanks for your replies...
So I conclude to NO even for low graphic settings...

What will the case with i5 quadcore, 6gb ram and NVIDIA GT 730 card ?

DDR3 cards can play this game ? or minimum DDR5 ?
Please suggest a budget graphic card for the game

The 730GT is a pretty low end card. Low settings may be possible but they're aren't many reviews for Far Cry 4 at this time. The lowest GPU I would buy is the r7 260 or the 750 GTX.

An i5 would be great. Look to save about $600-700 (with OS) for a good entry level PC. If that's too high, you can always drop the i5 for an i3.

You're welcome. I didn't think you would jump on the build. It was more of a suggestion for a future possibility. I should ask, what is your budget? The 750 is a good entry level GPU, but the 1GB is going to fill up fast. If that's the max you can afford, look for upgrading the GPU in the future for better performance.

Well.. I think its time for a rebuild. I am from India.

New System Build Plan:
CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K
GPU: Nvidia GTX 750
PSU: Corsair GS 600
Board: Asus MAXIMUS VII HERO- Z97

How will this turn out ?

A little imbalanced. Unless you're doing some serious overclocking, you don't need the Hero. It's a great board, I just can't justify the cost. You have a very strong CPU and now an entry level GPU. PSU is ok. There are better ones.

Let's start with a budget. How many rupees?

Yes this board seems highly costly... Lets choose another board...
20000 rupees in total

Also can we build an farcry 4 playable build in under 10000 ?

Probably not. An i5-4440 is 12.4k INR alone. An i3 4330 is 11k INR.

I was checking prices on Flipkart and The IT Depot. I just think your budget is too small for a build capable of play FC4.

Hmm... Ok
That means I still have to wait a little bit...
Let me play Far Cry 3 once more 😀

What about a Core 2 Quad Processor or Celeron Quad ? + Compatible Board + Minimum Required GPU
Can you suggest such a combination ?

I think this is the best bank for your buck at your price range. I only checked the only indian webpage I know, I guess you could get better deals in other sites. This setup should work great until you can add a gpu. I recommend for cheap gpus r9 270, r9 270x or gtx 750 ti. Good luck!

It is understandable that it will not run in the highest settings. However, I had the idea the OP only wanted to run it, and that pc will do that.

Thanks.... Seems the RAM is a laptop memory... I think 4GB Corsair Vengeance will do... corsair Cx 500 or VS 550 is my confusion... Why is CX series costly ? only due to voltage difference of CX that can handle 110 range too..? Great that APU can handle it alone...

I wasn't disagreeing with the ability of the computer. I wanted to highlight the fact majority of Youtube videos don't reflect what actual game play will be like. If you show that link to a person unfamiliar with PC components, they are going to think FC4 will run on 1080 which isn't true. The notes on the video provided more details about the computer and resolution. That PC will have to play on a very low resolution.

And that's my point. Not every video does that nor do people actually check the validity of the video.

rithurag, be aware that buying that PC will allow you to play the game but you will be very limited going in. I've always said, think a PC as an investment not as a quick fix. It's better to wait and increase the budget than to be locked into a lower end PC>

Also, there are parts incompatible in the build. That CPU is a FM2 CPU and the motherboard is a AM3+. They are different sockets and won't work together. Don't buy it.

You are so right about the parts. How the fuck could I miss that? :S
About the price, I think it's good pricing and you can always add a gpu later on, the apu's cpu is more than capable of running games, especially if paired with a nice gpu.
