Any game will play but some won't run on high settings, which is perfectly fine, many of the new games look good even on low settings.

I don't see what video card it has, if it's an 840m it will play games but on low settings for new ones and may not run the more demanding games well enough to be playable even on low.

it should run games on low settings. but some games graphics may be lacking in quality. make sure drivers updated. you could add more ram. Personally I would go up on my graphics card. make sure to research minimum video card requirements. FYI, I use a gamepad and a lot of the games don't work well with it. I suppose then I would have to upgrade to an actual gaming laptop. best of luck.
