HI so I have build a gaming computer this summer but I still want to use my xbox one, the only problem is that there is only one HDMI port on my moniter and Its annoying to have to unplug and replug everytime I need to switch screens, I have tried to use the stream option on the xbox to windows 10, but the quality of video is horrible. Is is possible to plug my xbox into io of my motherboard and use a software program to play it through a window.
Thank You

yes, all you need is a splitter switch...you hook both your PC and your Xbox to it and then all you have to do is to hit the button to switch between one and the other...you can find them easily and they are pretty cheap...
somthing like this would work...

If you have windows 10 you can link your xobx one through your pc using the windows 10 xbox app. In the xbox app on windows 10 it is called Game streaming.

He mentioned that he's tried it. The problem with game streaming is that the quality is incredibly low and there's some latency. I've tried it out and t's not a good experience.
