Hey guys, I was thinking about buying some good games, Skyrim for the most part.

This is my current setup EXACT.

http://www.amazon.com/Acer-Aspire-V3-571G-6641-15-6-Inch-Midnight/dp/B0085H64E6/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=3GF3KCYUOGW06&coliid=I1NI86RQHV7HHZ

Intel core i3 2370M 2.4 GHz (3 MB Cache)
4 GB SDRAM
500 GB 5400 rpm Hard Drive
15.6-Inch Screen, NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M

Im on a very low budget, and I dont need XXhigh video settings / render distance. Just something that will play this game decently.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks nova. But you cant replace the video card in a laptop? Anyway that is the best computer I could afford for 550$. Technically I havent bought it yet. But I was going to fill out the order this week.

If you could think of anything better than that, (Besides a pc and 550$-) That would be more than amazing!

That is probably the best you can do on a laptop for $550. Laptops generally don't have upgradeable graphics. A few of the really high end gaming laptops might have upgradeable graphic, but those cost $1500 and up. If you don't really need mobility, I would recommend getting a desktop rather than a laptop if you want to game on that budget.

I agree with Supernova. My recommendation for gaming on a $550 budget would be to build a desktop. You can get an i3 or a 965 for $100-$120, and a 7770 for $120 and run Skyrim and other games very well. Then piece the rest together with good brands and you can keep it under $550, however, if you truly NEED a laptop, this one should do with low settings.

CyberpowerPC Gamer Ultra GUA880

AMD fx_series_quad_core_fx_4100 Processor 3.6GHz (4MB Cache)
8 GB DDR3 RAM
1024GB 7200rpm Hard Drive
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Serial ATA-600
nVIDIA GT610

That's the best Desktop I could find for around 500. Going to a computer convention this saturday to see if we build a better one for cheaper, if not im going to stick with that.

nVIDIA GT610 is weak (very basic card)
I would go with
4 GB Ram
500 GB Hard Drive
and nVIDIA GT640 (or GT630)

Your laptop is very OK for games (for a laptop)
