Hi all,
I am purchasing the Antec High Current Gamer 620w PSU and the Gigabyte Z68A-D3-B3 (ATX) motherboard. the PSU comes with a 20+4 pin power connector but the motherboard comes with a 24 pin header. Do I need a 20-24 pin adapter so I can convert 20 pin part of the connector to 24 pin, and then I can use the other 4 pin connector to connect it somewhere near the CPU for extra power. (I have heard you need to connect a 20/24 pin ATX connector AND a 4-pin power connector to the motherboard. I also assume a 4+4 pin power connector can plug into a 4 pin EPS header?
Help is greatly appreciated as I am building my PC in a few days!
