I'm looking to make my Aunt's life easier by installing an SSD in her 2005 Toshiba Satellite. I looked at the specs and the laptop has a 250gb HDD. Do I have to get a certain SSD or will any SSD work?

Solution
2.5" SATA III SSD.

Given a 15 year old laptop...it probably needs a few other $0 things as well.
Clean OS install, and a blowing of the dust, to start.

Yeah and the weird thing is, I tried opening the back of the laptop, I removed all the screws and the heat pipe was connected to the mobo AND the back laptop tray. So, I couldn't open it. Any suggestions?
