can i plug the psu cable the wrong way ?

Hello,
i m getting a new msi gtx 1070 gaming x that needs 8 pins and 6 pins pcie connectors and i was wondering if there is a risk if i plug the cables the wrong way i mean the opposite way and if so what will happen ? and can i plug the pcie cables to these slots here http://prntscr.com/foh55b ?
the psu is corsair RM650X

nothing will happen. no risk. those cables can be plugged any way around.

you can and should plug them there.
