I have recently built a new pc and have bought a gigabyte 270x over clock edition which requires 2 6 pin connections. My psu is a cit pentium 500u and only has 2 molex ports both on seperate daisy chains which also have sata etc. would i be able to power my graphics card with 2 molex splitters, 1 2x molex to 6 pin and 1 2x sata to 6 pin or should I save for a new psu which I really don't have the money for

Thanks

No, that PSU only has 304 watts available on the 12v rails. That is a 180w video card, you don't list a CPU but most now are in the 100w range, this is nowhere near enough power for this. Go over to the power supplies forum and look at the tier list, use that to make a decision on what PSU you need. As a general guide, if it doesn't have the connectors you need already, you need a better one.
