[SOLVED] can i power on a dell motherboard without frontal panel and power switch?

i want to buy a dell motherboard t1650 (because is cheap and i got all parts except mobo) and i want to fit in my case, can i adapt an clasic power button to this motherboard?

Sure.
All the power button does is connect two terminals on the MB.
You can wire any sort of switch to those two terminals....or you could even just touch them together.

It's just a momentary switch....like a doorbell.

When you press it...it closes....when you release it...it doesn't stay closed...it opens.

You could actually take two wires and touch them together and do the same thing.
