Can I put a ddr5 graphics card on ddr3 motherboard?

Ddr5 is are memory modules use in graphics cards and are controlled by the graphic card memory controller so has nothing to do with your cpu memory controller. Yes, you can use ddr3 with your motherboard

As mp5mafia states. Graphics card memory has nothing to do with your system memory. You can certainly use a (G)DDR5 graphics card in a system running DDR3 RAM.
