Can i put a GTX 760 on a pice 2.0 slot?

Yes it is compatible , you will be fine
your gpu will run at 2.0 generation bus speed which is obviously slower than 3.0
but you will notice not much difference

Yes it will be fine. No performance difference compared to PCI-e 3.

The bus speed is faster in pci-e 3, but it doesnt actually make any difference in performance, in most cases as it is not a bottleneck.
