Can i put a GTX 950 to my ECS INTEL H81H3-M4 H81 DDR3 1600 VGA GLAN 1150p?

Solution
Not exactly a quality motherboard but yes you can put a GTX 950 in it (or any PCI-E video card for that matter) just fine.

Now just because your PSU has a sticker that has 600w printed on it in absolutely zero way means that it can power it or that there is any build quality in it.
While a 950 in no way needs a 600w PSU, a low end junk one could still be over-ran by the 200w constant power your 950+cpu/mobo would need.
Low quality PSUs will easily die running 50% of the load on the sticker, and when they die they fry any parts connected to it because it has no over-voltage/over-current/short-circuitry/etc protections.

I'm not good with hardware so excuse my stupid questions 😛

I want to get a good card like a GTX 750 Ti or 950.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

1.The reason i said 600 watt was because i was planing to buy that since i thought i would need that much power.

Here's the PSU i currently use: casper fsp250-50hmn
Can i do stuff with this power supply or nah?

2.It's out of the question but: Can i put GTX 750 Ti to this motherboard too?

3.Can i put AMD's R7 370 to this motherboard too?

4.Another question: Whats the most high end card i can get for this motherboard?

5.What do you mean by PCI-E cards?Can you give some examples?(like i said: NOT a hardware guy 😀 )

(if u could answer these questions i would be really glad! :3 )

1. Make sure your power supply is good. You want lots of 12 volt current. Older/cheaper power supplies have less power on the 12 volt rail. Old systems did not need as much 12, but modern systems do.

2. Yes a 750ti will fit and work

3. Yes that would work as well as long as you have the power

4. Any card should work.

5. PCI-e is pci express. All modern cards use this interface(the X16 variant). It is the long slot on the board.

Your board also has a PCI-e x1 slot that can be used for other cards like network, wifi or sound.

Since you have a small board, are you running a small computer case as well? This can limit the cards that will fit.

here's my case:

1. Is it small?

2. Is this power supply good?
I'm planning to buy it

THERMALTAKE TR2 600W 80PLUS SA POWER SUPPLY

3. What do you mean any card? can i put a gtx 1080 to this too? :/

4. Can i run GTX 750 Ti without any problem?

5. Can i run GTX 950 without any problem?

You dont need a 600w PSU for any of the GPUs you listed. A 400-450w would be plenty, considering the minimal more investment i would go with a 500w just to be future proof. Thermaltake anything is not good, Sesonic and XFX are both good brands.

As I stated earlier ANY pci-e graphics card will work with your motherboard, so ANY of the cards you mentioned will work just fine, it will even support the newest GTX 1080

In regards to your case it will have a problem supporting high end cards. It should fit a 950 or 750 ti just fine though.
To figure out if it fits, just measure the distance from the back inside of the case (where the GPU ports will stick out the case) to the first obstruction you hit (likely the hard drive/hard drive cage). Then the GPU should state its depth in mm.

Considering your case looks very cheap and not designed in any way for gaming I would suggest you get a different case sooner then latter. Your case does not have the cooling or size to support higher end gaming parts. A inexpensive gaming case is the NZXT 210, it is barebones but will support most graphics cards with large enough fan slots for increased cooling for $30 or less. If you have a little more to spend then some good $50 cases are corsair 100r, corsair spec 01, corsair spec red, or rosewill challenger

So which psu brand should i go with?
Can anyone recommend something?

Edit: wot about this?
ANTEC VP500PC EC 500W 120mm Fan

and this:
Corsair 550W CP-9020097-EU

Both of those should run a system with either card without issues.

At least if I trust the label the Corsair will have more 12 volt power.

They are both entry level units, but your system is not power hungry.

Back to the video card. As said above, cards are different lengths and not all cases have as much space for a card.

So this case has room for fairly long video cards.

And this one does not have as much room for long cards. You can see anything too long will hit the front of the case. This case has a board similar to the one in your system.

Since your board is small, I have a sneaking feeling your case may not have too much room. You will have to remove the side panel(normally it is just 2 screws at the back of the case.) and have a look to see how much room you have.

Well, did it and i think i have fairly long space,
so mind recommending a good psu W/ 500 or 600 watts?
