Can i put a Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400 into a dell optiplex 760 DT?

Hi, i have an optiplex 760 DT which ive wanted to upgrade the cpu in for a while (it currently has a core 2 duo e8400 clocked at 3.0gHZ) and the processor i want to install into it is an Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400 clocked at 2.66gHZ, i have a 755 socket and the Q43/Q45 chipset.

so can i use this processor in my pc?

There was a 2 core MB, and a 4 core MB in the 760s. If you have/get the right board, and the latest BIOS form Dell it should work. The Q9650/9550 work also.
