Can I put a ps3 game in a windows 7 laptop? Will it work?

Highest gen console emulator is dolphin that can play wii and game cube. Works really well too. GameCube looks almost HD when running on OpenGL. Even if you had a ps3 emulator most game systems use drives that are set to read from the outside in rather than the way your pc reads from the inside out. So I seriously doubt your laptop will even recognize there is a disc in it

you wouldnt be able to just stick in a game and go, ps3 games are encrypted to only run in a ps3. it would have to be a soft copy of the game (a ROM) and im pretty sure no one has figured out how to do that yet. there are modchips available however they are highly illegal and can brick your computer.

Mod chips aren't highly illegal. They are for sale online and perfectly legal to buy. It's how you use it that would make it illegal. For instance ripping a game you got from red box that you don't own. Roms can she something as simple as isos. Dolphin uses isos of wii and GameCube games. These isos are easily available Online if you know where to look. Distributing or downloading copyrighted materials however is illegal of course

^ yea true... but usually people don't invest in a chip if they have legal intentions. not many people really put the effort into backing up stuff they already own like dvds. but i guess there are a few exceptions.

whats your specs? i can run things like pokemon and ummm... metroid prime hunters i think it is perfectly on my build (intel pentium E6700 3.2ghz oc to 3.8 4gb of ram 1066 mhz nvidia gtx 275 underclocked cause it can no longer take factory defaults for some reason :/)
