I have the following build currently built, as of yesterday, and I will really need to overclock higher than the stock fan can cool. ~4.5+ GHz. I plan on moving the stock fan to the very top of the case, and will install a liquid cooled CPU block where the fan was originally. I have two main questions:
1. Will the liquid cooling block fit with my motherboard
2. What is the best CPU cooling block for less than $50 for this kind of a job.
I just checked, the fan space is 120x120x25 in all spaces. How can I rig a radiator to work without taking my Dremel to the case?
Here is my current build:
Case: Thermaltake V3 Black Edition
RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600MHz 2x8GB
PSU: Corsair RM 850
CPU: Intel i7 4770K
Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth Z87
HDD: Seagate 2000GB
SSD: Samsung 256GB
GFX Card: GeForce GTX 780
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit
Stock Fan: 120x120x25mm Blue LED Fan
Let me know if I am forgetting something.
