Question Can I put a Thunderbolt 3 pcie card on a Asus M5A99X EVO

I need a Thunderbolt 3 port for my UAD Apollo Twin mkii duo interface. https://www.uaudio.com/audio-interfaces/apollo-twin-mkii.html
My MOBO is the ASUS M5a99x evo R2.0. https://www.asus.com/ca-en/Motherboards/M5A99X_EVO_R20/
It has a TB Header on the motherboard but I looked through the manual and have found no imformation on it. My processor is the AMD FX 8350. It's older so I don't think Black Ed.
I would like to use the ASUS Thunberbolt EX3 pcie card. https://www.asus.com/ca-en/Motherboard-Accessories/ThunderboltEX-3/. I've had varying comments about compatability. Has anyone had experience with this?

Thunderbolt is intel only. and just recently been open.
it will not be on that old motherboard

Thank you rgd1101 . I have read that TB is Intel Technology but I want to add a Asus Thunderbolt 3 pcie board to enable that. It has a TB header on my board. I don't know . I'm confused. Asus realeased a statement in 2012 (apprx) saying they have added a TB header on certain boards. The Asus M5a99x evo 2.0 is one of them. So I don't understand why there is no mention of it in their manual. Although it shows the TB header there.
