Question Can I put an old hard drive into my new pc?

I have a pc with 3 hard drives. One of them has windows installed on it. I am planning to get a new computer with an ssd and installing windows on that ssd. So if I put all of my older hard drives (including the one with windows already installed on it) will it cause any problems?

No, just make sure to not have anything attached when you install Windows on your new SSD and make sure the boot priority goes to that disk. Then you can delete anything you want from the old ahrd drives.

When you're installing Windows on new SSD, have that be the only drive connected. And then only connect your old hard drives once everything's up and running. You don't want Windows to put any stray install files into the extra hard drives as it tends to like to do.

Oh ok, one last thing. Since my current HHD has the windows installed on C drive and the SSD will probably have it as C as well so what will the old one be renamed to?
