Solution Colif Oct 10, 2017 If you mean the page file, just set it to auto. PC will only use what it needs, if you have 8gb it may never use all of it. I have 16gb of ram and have page file set to auto, it only uses 1gb at most.

A computer may need more virtual memory than actual RAM you have, so by default it stores some less used data on main storage (HDD or SSD). You don't need to play with anything. it works by itself.
