[SOLVED] can i put rgb ram in my motherboard

hi i have a MSI B250 PC MATE LGA i was wondering can i put rgb ram in my computer or will it not work i was looking at ram like this

You can but the motherboard will default the memory to DDR4 2400 rather than the 3200 you are looking at. .

RGB should not be a problem at all for Desktop motherboards, however your specific board does not support Clock frequencies above 2400MHz. Your links are for 3200MHz sticks which will not reach their full speed on your board. Please select the 2400 option for your board.

As for specific brand, if you have Ryzen go for trident ram sticks as they are manufactured with Samsung-b die which is best for Ryzen chips, if you have intel it doesn't matter which brand you get.
