I did a quick googling on this particular laptop and it appears that adding a drive can be quirky. Again this has nothing to do with the type of drive SSD or HD, you don't have to do anything additional for an SSD. According to the info I see this model has only two bays. From there it depends on the configuration of your particular laptop. Some come with everything you need to install another drive and some require you to buy a bracket and a connector for the drive. Keep in mind this is just a cursory examination, the MSI forums are your best bet to install another drive successfully, it appears that it may require more than just the standard install steps.
