Hello,
I am new to the Tomorrow I am going to recieve a 500 gb SSD and I was wondering if I can put that SSD onto my HDD with double sided tape? Is there anything wrong with that? If I don't put my SSD onto my HDD, I will have to buy a SATA extension cord since my sata cable (from PSU) cannot reach to lower level of my case. Only way to get around that is to adhere SSD onto HDD with a double sided tape. I am just wondering if these 2 would interact somehow and break each other. Please let me know how would this work out for me.

Thanks

Heat is not my issue. My case is THOR and is super cooled since I made a good airflow through fans intakes and outtakes. In addition, what do you mean "as long as I am not touching HDD's printed circuit board"? My HDD is also fully covered. My other concern is vibration. Since HDDs are RPM (revolution per minute) there is a vibration that comes along with that. Will my SSD be affected by this vibration? It is going to be taped on to HDD for good.

I have 1 HDD (1 tb) and 1 SSD (128 gb) installed already. The SSD that I will recieve tomorrow will be the 3rd storage. However I might look into that "4 pin molex to sata adaptor for the ssd" Could you still tell me if vibration could damage SSD?

I sure have a the all the space in the world to fit many SSDs into my THOR rosewell case. My only problem is the SATA cable that comes from the power supply. If I go with 4 pin molex to SATA which I never used before, I will not have to tape these 2 together. Lets say I went with 4 pin molex to sata, where will I connect 4 pin molex side to?
