Question Can i recover usb flash drive files without pc

Is there an app or is it actually possible to recover your usb flash drive files with your android device by using USB type C to A adapter. Or do i have to buy a pc/laptop and use easeus software?

If your search for sucn an Android app has failed, then a PC is next best thing. It also depends how this USB drive has failed - if your phone can't recognise it, there are chance a PC wont recognize it either.

The usb drive is fine, i just deleted some information on it and was able to retrieve it back by downloading easeus recovery software on laptop. Would have been interesting if a phone could also do it but i guess it cant trully replace a computer meant for such tasks.
I can still connect my USB drive to my phone using special adapter and transfer files to it.
