Can I remove my GPU and not need to re install the software?

I want to rewire my PC, so I'm wondering if I can Shut down my PC, switch off the PSU then unplug the power cord and then remove my GPU and the power connectors without having to re install the software? This goes for the power connector for the Mb and other components.

As long as you're not changing video cards or installing your current video card in a different slot then you won't have to reinstall the drivers or anything.
