Can i remove optical bay?

I have corsair carbide spec-02. I have only one 120mm frontal fan. My gpu is so long that it almost touches to my hdd bay and frontal fan pushes air rather over that gpu than under gpu. Can i replace my optical bay with my hdd bay? So i can move frontal fan to lower slot.

No you cannot do like that the HDD bays and the Optical bays are different sizes the HDD is 3.5 and the optical drive is about 5 inches.

there are two front fan mounting options in spec 2 if you want then you can add another fan.

You can put hard drives in the 5.25 inch bays if you buy something like this:

The hdd bay were removeable but I think you can't remove 5.25 inch bays. Why would you want to remove it anyways?
