Can i remove the caps of the Key switches?

I have a Cooler Master Masterkeys Pro L which has Mx Blue switches with led (not integrated into the switch). I wanted to clean out a key switch so i wanted to know if i can remove the switch caps from the switches without de soldering the switches?

ALSO THE KEYS ARE MOUNTED ON A METAL BACKPLATE AND NOT A PCB.

Yes you can remove the key caps themselves. you usually get a key cap puller in the box so that you can remove the key caps easily...but no issues even without a key cap puller...just be gentle and they do come off...Makes it much easier to clean properly and of course you can change the key caps to other types if you want..
