can i repeat wifi signal using wifi extender?

Hello guys i am confuse about wifi extending,it is possible to extend wifi signal using wifi extender because i hacked hotel wifi signal using kali linux 2.0 through the laptop but the problem is wifi signal won't come in my room it comes on my roof but i want that signal in my room.it is possible.
