[SOLVED] Can I replace a GT 1030 for a GTX 1650 SUPER?

Hello
At the moment I am running a Ryzen 7 2700X, on a Prime B450M-K, alongside a GT 1030 PNY Low Profile and I want to upgrade the GPU to a GTX 1650 Super!

My PSU is a Corsair VS 550, and it has loads of cables loose, and I have seen online that it does have a 6 pin connector among those loose cables.
Will this work? My only worry is that the GT 1030 is PCI-Expres 3.0 x16 (x4 active) and the 1650S is PCI-E 3.0 x 16.

Writing this I realise that they are both PCI-E x 16, only 4 are active on the GT 1030, but just making sure

vs is not corsair's best lineup but i think 550W should do the job.
And no you dont need to worry about pcie bandwidth,both of those cards use pcie gen 3.0

Can you go into the motherboard bios and change the pcie speed to at least 8x?
It is quite possible the card you have is only x4 pcie

When you drop in the 1650 super it should be a lot faster.

It's likely the card rather than the slot. You shouldn't have an issue.
