Can I replace my AMD A4-5000 with an AMD A6-5200?

I'm using an HP 15 laptop and the processor is really pissing me off so is it possible to replace it with an AMD A6-5200 or even with a processor from another family?

Most likely not with soldering skills. And even then I doubt it would work. Upgrade is really your only option.

No you cannot and it would not be a worthwhile upgrade anyway. What kind of problems are you having? Getting a ssd would make your laptop run way faster than any cpu upgrade would.

It's way worse than you could ever imagine, it lags even with just Firefox and I just noticed another problem: the battery isn't fully charging, it won't go past 97% and btw I bought this laptop 10 days ago.

If you got a ssd and re-installed windows on it, your system would run 100% faster and you would double your battery life.

Laptops come pre-loaded with so much garbage, you would even benefit from re-installing windows even if you don't get a ssd.
