I am getting a bit into PC gaming and I have a pretty decent computer, but my graphics card is awful. I am wondering if I can replace it without an issue? I am not looking to play Skyrim or anything like that, just Minecraft and Goat Simulator, etc.

I have a
Gateway
Windows 7
64 Bit operating system
4GB of RAM
Processor : AMD E1-1200 APU with Radeon HD graphics 1.40 GHz

My lack of knowledge is unbearable, I know.

sadly it makes it impossible, really the only laptops that can do that are the dedicated gaming ones. sorry mate, wish i had better news. black friday's coming sorta.........
first thing we need to know is what motherboard you have, also... this isn't a laptop right? if not open the side panel and look and the board at the back, it should say the brand name with some model number, please give us that.

It is a laptop, I am assuming this makes the ordeal harder, huh?

Thanks for the help! I didn't realize the card is attached to the motherboard. That's a bummer!

yeah, even a low end gpu needs a desktop, not to mention that laptops are not really meant to be opened, unless you really are skilled or just don't care.
