Hello,

So I needed to replace my HDD of my desktop and I have a couple questions.
I have an Acer Aspire M3920 - Intel Core i7-2600 / 6 GB / 1 TB / NVIDIA G405 1024MB DDR3.

First I want to know if my pc supports the SSD I could not find any answers on Google. I want to completely replace my HDD with this SSD:
*60GB SSDNow V300 SATA 3 2.5in (7mm Height) Stand Alone Drive*

And also all data on my HDD has been deleted and I don't have a back-up (which is pretty stupid I know) but I had no important files on it. Now the question is do I just buy this SSD and remove my broken HDD and put my SSD in the same slot and just boot my computer? I have seen on other forums that you need your Windows disc etc... . And most people still keep their old HDD in their computer but mine is completely useless. To clear some things up my computer is not working because of my hard drive. I don't know that much of the inside and outside of computers so this may be a stupid question. But I really need some help.

I'm buying this cheap SSD because I thinks 60gb is enough. I'm only going to play 1 game that does not require that much space at all so will 60gb be enough?

The reason that my HDD is broken is here: http://www.pchelpforum.com/antivirus-firewalls-and-system-security/121410-why-do-i-get-blue-screen-death-when-i-play-games.html

Thanks for reading! Any help is appreciated, have a nice day :)

PS: Sorry for my horrible English its not my main language.

Yes you can install the SSD, but first initialize it in a different computer.

After that re-install Windows and activate it using your activation key. Then install other software and games. Keep in mind that you can use only about 70% of the capacity of the SSD (40 GBs).

according to your other post your playing WOW. WOW when installed is like 35+ gigs, that drive with windows and WOW will not be big enough. A 60gb ssd is not actually 60gb, its somewhere around 55GB. you also need to keep at least 10% of the drive free to keep it operating at peak performance, so now your down to only a 50gb drive.

Minimum size i would go is a 80GB drive if not a 120GB.
