In our living room we have one globe (our isp) wirless router with one small antenna
An aztech brand.
Problem is the signal is not enough because our bedrooms walls are concrete.
Can i replace it?
Or add another high gain antenna router to boost the signal?

If i replace it, what details do i need from an isp?
:)

Often all you need from the isp is the modem. If you have a seperate modem you should be good to go on your own. Otherwise if your router is a modem and router combo, then you need to call the isp to get them to set it to "bridging mode" so it can accept your own router.

Yup. Concrete walls but we also have 12" Glass windows on the top of the concrete.
there is still signal but since i am getting an unlimited plan might as well boost. :)

yup my isp gave an modem/router combo like telephone cable to internet port of the wifi router

Technologically there is no reason why it can not be done. The problem is your service provider. If they insist that you only use their router then you are out of luck.

Otherwise you just need to access the ethernet port on their router and get to the configuration menu and set it up however you like, the best would to make their crap a bump in the wire media converter, and the connect your own router to the ethernet port and take over from there.

yup. i heard in my isp's forums they don't provide support if you change their router unless you put theirs back in the line.
i'm from the philippines which has the crappiest internet.
