Can i replace PC3-8500s with PC3-10600

i have an old LG laptop with factory installed 3GB PC3-8500s DDR3
Can i replace it with 8GB PC3-10600 or PC3-12800 or any other?

If it's the same variety of DDR3 RAM stick (pins & voltage), yes. Best that you check your motherboard against a RAM checker.
