Question Can i replace this ram with .....

This ram is installed:
Lexar LD4AS008G-R2666G Ram 8GB 1x8GB DDR4 2666MHZ.
As far as i can see its single rank.

Can it be replaced with this?
Kingston ValueRam 16GB 3200MHZ DDR4 Non EEC CL22 SODIMM 1r8 1.2V KVR32S22S8/16

a) What i found strange, there are SODIMM DDR4 ram which have the hole to the left, and others have it near the middle. Why is that? To me these two look like the same in this regard.

Did i miss something?

b) What will happen if the hardware is using 2666MHZ, will that kingston run 2666 then? And has better timings? (The installed one has 19 timing)

I found a picture from someone who extracted ram from a version, it showed as well pc4 3200mhz, 1r8, 1,2V ,non ecc.
So should be good.
