Can I reuse my current hard drive (no OS) for a new pc build and keep my files?

Recently, the pcie slot of my fm2+ motherboard fell off. Since I have no other pcie slot, I am looking to simply switch to the Skylake socket. My current build has a 120gb SSD (with retail windows 10) and a 1tb hard drive with mostly games. I realise that I have to reinstall windows 10, hence, I am going to do a clean install of windows 10 on the SSD. My real question is once I have done that and install my hard drive, will I be able to access my files like normal? If not, do I have to delete/override the partitions that may or may not exist on the hard drive? The main reason why I am so desperate to keep my files is because I don't want to redownload all my games since my internet speed is less than 1 mb per second.

Solution
You can access the files.
You need to reinstall some games (some don't need to be reinstalled), but saves, documents, pics, music can be accessed and reused.

When you say some don't need to be reinstalled, are you talking about steam and origin games?
