Can I reuse my old alienware Case? 2006 model.

I plan on building a new gaming computer and was wondering if my old Alienware tower would still be viable with todays hardware? Should I expect any problems?

well, provided its a standard ATX, mATX or similar motherboard design (not any odd BTX like dell, who bought alienware likes using!) and not a slim, super-slim or compact design then sure you could theoretically use it. keep in mind that cases of that age used smaller fans so you might have only 80mm or if you're lucky 120mm which arent as nice as current 120/140mm configurations for cooling and you're limited to usb2 on your front jacks instead of new usb3.

so while possible, you might want to certainly upgrade while you're at it.
