can I revert back to windows 7? I upgraded when it first came out and I hate it

How can I go back to windows 7

Do try these steps that may work for you because in some case it doesn't work with others who tried.
- Click Start then go to Settings.
- Click on Update & Security and click on Recovery on the left pane.
- On the right pane click on Get Started under Go back to Windows 7.
- You'll be ask with some questions just go ahead and answer then and start the downgrade.

Not going to work, it's well past 30 days.


What you need to do is a clean reinstall of Windows 7 using the install media you have (or enter your key in https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download if you don't have an OEM license) and then reinstall all your software after that.


Unless you have hardware (or in rare cases software) compatibility issues, it's highly suggested not to revert to the now deprecated Windows 7.
