Can I run 1080p on my PC

So my laptop has a AMD A8-7410 and radeon R5 graphics. Not that much of a monster. (8GB of RAM). I am hooking up a 1080p gaming monitor. I want to know just for starters if my desktop will be laggy, if my browser will be laggy.

yes it will power a 1080p monitor for normal desktop use but not for gaming. Any program that requires a large amount of graphics processing will have issues. Browser use and normal operations will not be effected.

What about games like Minecraft, League of Legends and like CSGO, maybe if I lower the graphics settings or if i lower the resolution.

If you lower the resolution to the same resolution of the built in monitor screen then it will have the same performance as the built in screen but on a seperate screen as long as you have the setting set to display only on one screen at a time.
