Question Can I run 165hz with HDMI, usb 3.0 or usb-C?

I have a laptop and i want to buy a 165hz monitor. I have usb 3.0, usb-c, and HDMI in my laptop. Will I have 165hz if I connect the monitor to one of these ports?

i don t know. I have dell inspiron 15 7000 gaming but there are several versions of them, so I checked in the device manager what usb versions I have, and I have 1 usb 3.0 I know that I have usb c with thunderbolt and hdmi (I do not know what version and whether it matters at all)
