Can I run 3 1440p monitors w/ r9 290?

Hi i am just wondering if I can run 3 1440p monitors with my r9 290. I will only be using the middle one for gaming.

If you only use 1 for heavy games then yes. You might also be able to run lighter games on all 3 monitors.

Yes, should be fine, will not be able to max more demanding games, but a single 290 will be ok for 2560x1440p; for some games obviously 290 crossfire would be better, but is not absolutely necessary as long as you drop some settings. There will also be some games you can VSR to 3200x1800 (obviously not something like TW3 or Crysis 3, but less demanding titles). I have a 390X which is a bit better than a 290, but not hugely better than a 290X which in turn is not hugely better than a 290 and I'm able to run quite a few titles @1440p with very high settings and a few @3200x1800. For 7680x1440p though I'd recommend at least crossfire (I run 7680x1440p with 980Tis in SLI and it still demands reduced settings for some games).
