Can I run a 1070 and a 1060 in the same system?

^ Also correct. You can't SLI them. I assumed that he might be trying to do GPU rendering. That's the only case that I would do this.

Yes, if you purchase the 1070, then you should sell the 1060.

Same question as above? I'm doing some photogrammetry rendering that takes a ball aching amount of time and GPU power. I've got a EVGA 1070 8GB in there and would be curious to know if I can chuck in a spare (sorry kids!) GPU to 'help' (Aorus 1060 6GB) even though I know they won't be able to be linked via SLI. I plan to sell it - if I can get the kids off the damn thing, just need to get the box out of the loft, but would be great over the weekend if it would/could add a bit more horsepower to the PC?? I get that the gist of the answers seem to be 'Well I guess you could, but why would you want to'?, but hoping for something a bit more like 'Well yea, I suppose it would help and it wouldn't blow your rig up, but pull your finger out and get that s**t SLI'd with a matching card ASAP' !!!
