Question Can I run a 4k and 2k monitor setup with a rtx3070?

Explanation
I own a 1440p 144hz monitor and I use it for medium-high demand gaming. I want to get a 2nd monitor and hoping I can run the Samsung Odyssey Neo G7 32" (the monitor I'm looking at) as well but use it exclusively for Videos/Movies/Some work and possibly for low demanding games like runescape?

In the next year or two I'll be looking to upgrade my gpu to compensate for better performance and to be able to experience better 4k gaming when I then swap to use the 4k for main gaming.

In Short:

  • 1440p Monitor for gaming
  • 4k to use for Movies/Videos/Work/Low Demand Game.
If these specific components are important that I own I'll leave here:

  • Ryzen 7 5800x
  • EVGA FTW 3070 8gb vram
  • 32gb ram (2x16gb sticks)
  • Msi Mag X570 Tomahawk Wifi

Just a heads up: The driver sucks at low load power management on multi-monitor configs, so if you notice that it seems high, you'll know why.
My 1080Ti sits at 60w with my dual screen setup.

With the Samsung Odyssey Neo G7 as said to be used for Movies/Videos/Work and possibly low demand games. (Also want to make use good use HDR). Should I use DP1.4 or HDMI 2.1?

Let's first figure it out using one monitor. We will then determine if there is enough power to divide it among three monitors.
2,560x1,440=3,686,400 that is still less than half of 4K UHD: 3,840x2,160=8,294,400.
According to the information below, RTX 3070 is able to handle according to the information below, 4K UHD with ultra settings in nine different games at an average of 68 frames per sec.
So dividing that power over 2560x1440 resolution: 8,294,400/3,686,400=2.25. This means that it will be able to produce enough power to power just 2.25 monitors of this resolution and only 68 frames per second , not 144!
If we take this calculation from now on, it has only the capacity to process the equivalent of 144 frames per second on one 2560x1440 screen. 144/68=2.117647058823529 so with only a tiny bit of power more.
It's an entirely different scenario in the event that you used moderate to extreme settings rather than Ultra setting and use just two instead of three 2560x1440-pixel monitors. However, even then you'd only be able to receive 120 frames per second.
