Specs:
Motherboard: asus b85m-g
PSU: XPD-RD 750W
CPU: i7-4770CPU@3.40ghz
GPU: Gtx 760 2GB ( I don't think this matters)
Ram: 8 GB's

Will my pc be able to support a gtx 970 4 gb? Any help would be greatly appreciated!, keep in mind i'm not too good with PC's so please don't make it too complicated!

Also: my case is a Aerocool X-Predator Case Devil Red, will the graphics cards even fit in there?

Solution
Yes... but no.

The only things that determine whether or not you can run a graphics card are 1) Motherboard, 2) PSU

Though technically your PSU has enough watts, the fact that I cannot find ANY information about it anywhere is a huge red flag, which tells me its a non-branded one that probably came with your case.

If this is true, then do not buy a GTX 970 unless you get a good PSU.

A cheap PSU will NOT supply anywhere near the amount of watts it says it will, as the components are simply not good enough to withstand that amount of power running through them.

In fact, many cheap PSUs will only manage to get around 60-75% of the stated wattage before blowing up - literally. This can destroy that new expensive 970 you just...

Here are some good quality PSU suggestions that I strongly advise you get before any further upgrades. Any one of them would be a perfect match for your build, both as it is now and if you get a 970:

- EVGA Supernova GS 550
- XFX XTR 550
- Seasonic G550

My advice: Play it safe...

Research the card you want for example MSI, ASUS, GEOFORCE and so on then find its dimensions and get a tape measure and measure from the back of the case to the from and see if it will fit (do this with the case open).

If your going to pay for a £250+ graphics card then you need to get a PSU that can support it and isn't going to die due to the current PSU being unbranded an almost certainly a cheap one.

The GTX 970 series of cards requires a 500w PSU but a few of the cards you see on the market are overclocked out of the box so I would say go for a 500-550w Gold rated PSU.

Look over these and pick one in your price range:
