Can I run a PC w/o cpu?

I might be planning to upgrade cpu for video editing and gaming. What if I remove it sell it, with those money and extra money I buy a new one. It doesn't happen it one day so is there anyway I can start pc without a cpu. I have a laptop at my disposal

No. There is no socket converter like that.
