I just build this computer two days ago and I was wondering if I can play any old to new games with these specs? I am willing to upgrade sometime in the future and beside I have console games too. I just want a computer to make my own video games, animations(video editing), rendering and just a almost tiny bit of gaming. I haven't started on any of those with this computer but gaming. It runs totally fine so far. I rely on CanIrunit.com a lot but I am not sure if those specs are accurate. (excuse my english)

The games I play so far:

League of legends
Dota 2
Marvel Heroes 2016
Most free games on stream and online.

The games I was hoping to play:

Mortal Kombat X
Street Fighter IV or V
Call of Duty games (I am pretty sure the servers are still up for any COD game)
Etc( too many to list)

Here are my specs of my computer

8gb DDR3 ram
Intel I5 Core Processor 3.30ghz
GeForce GTX 950
WIndows 8.1

For gaming that is decent. Not great, but decent. Especially for what you listed you play, that is more than enough. Same goes for if you want to do video/media or any other type of editing. I do a lot of music production and my specs aren't quite as good and my PC does just fine. Definitely do some research before upgrading though. See if your current MOBO can handle DDR4 and if your PSU can handle anymore hardware and so on and so on.

For what you are doing you will be okay. But if you want to do any more than that, you definitely need to upgrade your PSU and mobo to handle anymore RAM and/or GPU. Id recommend a Gigabyte mobo that supports ddr4, you can find them for around $150 and a 750w EVGA psu. Both are good quality and reasonably priced.
