Largely disagree. For me, it is very noticeable when fps drops. No, I don't need 120fps. 60 is absolutely fine, and for games like Witcher, 40 is playable due to the nature of the game.
BUT, for fast FPS games, sorry, but locked 60 is a must for me to call it playable. Yes, you can 'play' it with drops, but I find it very distracting, particularly in games like BF. It is most important when you have a lot on screen, then a grenade explodes, causing extra work for GPU/CPU and you drop to say 45fps, and the resultant stutter causes you to miss a shot. THEN its a problem, and given most BF is played online, it does matter.
No where did I say anything about more than 60 fps.
